About this qualification
The Level 4 Award in Early Years Emotional Wellbeing is designed for learners who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of emotional wellbeing in early years settings. They will examine the influence of families and practitioners on children’s emotional wellbeing and promote the importance of supportive practice.
Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is suitable for learners over the age of 18 who must be working in an appropriate early years setting.
What are the entry requirements?
Learners should hold a full level 3 early years or childcare qualification before registering on this qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully demonstrate the knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of the 2 mandatory units.
How is it assessed?
Learners are required to build a portfolio of evidence, which is internally assessed by the centre and externally quality assured by NCFE.
How long will it take to complete this qualification?
The suggested guided learning hours for this qualification are a total of 30 hours.
