T Levels

T Levels: a revolution in technical education
Launched in September 2020, T Levels are an exciting new high-quality, work-focused alternative to A Levels for those aged 16 - 18. These two-year courses are designed with employers to intimately reflect the needs of the sectors and occupations they’re designed to serve.
After completing their two-year T Level, students will have the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully progress into work or higher-level study.

It was announced in October 2021 that NCFE had been selected by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) as the delivery partner for three new T Level routes: Craft and Design, Media, Broadcast and Production, and Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy. The Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy route has been awarded to NCFE and will be developed in collaboration with our partner VTCT, the market-leading sector specialist awarding organisation. These new T Level technical qualifications will be available for first delivery in September 2023.
