Updated sample assessment materials for Health, Healthcare Science and Science
We’re pleased to let you know that we’ve responded to your feedback and made some updates to our sample assessment materials (SAMs). The latest versions are available to download, using the links below:
What have we changed?
We’ve reviewed and further clarified the scenarios to:
- Include only equipment listed in the specification or easy to access items such as spoons and glasses
- Remove detail to help further simplify the scenarios
- Make them simpler to deliver and bring them further into line with the style of the live scenarios
- Ensure alignment is clearer to the skills listed and taught in the specification.
No impact on teaching content
We’d like to reassure you that these minor changes will have no impact on what you’ve been teaching – the content remains the same. We also want to reassure you that we have not changed the style, approach or content targeting of the Occupational Specialism assessments.
We hope that by simplifying the scenarios used and removing complexity, this will better support you with your delivery and help your students with their preparation for the live assessments.
