As we look ahead to the new academic year, we want to let you know about the changes we’re making to our T Level Technical Qualification fees for 2023-24.

The overall fee that you pay for each qualification covers a wide range of processes, including the development, implementation, quality assurance, approval and certification of qualifications. It also accommodates the varied nature of assessment methods and windows throughout the whole year across our full technical and vocational qualification portfolio.

Due to increased costs for the processes above, from August 2023 we’re increasing our fees for T Level Technical Qualifications by 10%.

Our fees and pricing document will be updated and published in July when we update on fees across all NCFE’s products and services.

We hope that the package of significant additional funding, announced by the Department for Education earlier this year, will help to reduce the impact of this increase. As a reminder, the package included:

• 10% uplift on T Level funding for 2023-24
• Careers guidance funding for providers
• Specialist equipment allocation.
