Following the communication from the DfE, we can confirm that these T Levels will now be launching from September 2024 instead of the originally planned September 2023. We are confident in the quality of the technical development to date, however we agree that by slowing down the roll-out, it should ensure that these new T Levels are delivered to the highest quality standards and that every student has the best possible experience. It will also give providers longer to prepare for delivery.  We wanted to reassure you that this will have no bearing on our ongoing support for delivery of current wave 1 and wave 2 T Levels.

The postponement will give us an opportunity to bolster our existing offer for students; continuing to build on the positive momentum with the Health and Science T Level route and continuing to support the sustained and positive growth of our Education and Early Years and Digital T Levels.  We look forward to working in partnership with IfATE, the Department for Education and Ofqual to facilitate the long-term success of these qualifications.
