Updates to our Key Dates Schedule 

We want to clarify some recent updates to the Key Dates Schedule for 2023-2025. 

In early December 2023, we published version 1.2 of the Key Dates Schedule, with the intention of bringing forward submission dates for assignments within the T Level Education and Early Years Occupational Specialisms that were originally scheduled for the day prior to half-term in May. 

We made this change to reduce pressure on staff at providers, particularly exams officers and similar, to submit student work across half-term. After we made this change, we noticed a clerical error which resulted in missing and partial information being provided within the published December version (pp10 and 12). We’ve now amended this document and published the correct version in February 2024 (v1.3). 

The changes we made included: 

• amended the Early Years Educator Occupational Specialism (page 10), both parts of Assignment 2 (Parts 1 and 2) to a final submission date of 17 May 2024 and 16 May 2025 respectively 
• amended Assignment 2 of the Assisting Teaching Occupational Specialism (page 12) 
• highlighted changes within the Change History Record, towards the end of the February 2024 document. 

Over the next few months, we’ll begin consultations with you on the Key Dates Schedule for 2024-2026 and we’d encourage you to participate in this exercise, to ensure we can schedule T Level assessments to best suit the needs of both delivery staff and students.
