T Level Education and Early Years: June Celebratory Drop-in Clinic

This drop-in clinic is a celebratory event to mark finishing exam season. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the achievement of provider staff and students as you mark the end of year one or year two delivery. You can ask questions, share best practice and connect with other providers to build your network as you move into a new academic year.
T Level Education and Early Years Onboarding
26 June, 11am-12pm
Aimed at staff delivering and/or assessing the T Level in Education and Early Years starting from September 2023. This event will provide an overview of the onboarding process and support available from NCFE throughout delivery. We’ll explore the qualification including the specification, teaching and learning content, assessment timelines and activities and quality assurance activities. We’ll also cover a summary of the resources available to you and identify the support that is available from the Provider Development team.
4 July, 9:30-11:45am
Aimed at staff teaching and assessing the Education and Early Years T Level, this event will provide an overview of year two delivery, focusing on the occupational specialism and preparations for assignments. We’ll review moderation and quality assurance, including input from the Chief Moderator. At the event, we’ll also explore effective professional discussion within the Early Years Educator (EYE) assignment two, with a focus on EYE competency criteria. We’ll focus on observation skills, standardised practice and writing effective narratives of students, whilst eliciting teaching ideas to develop student’s skills and knowledge through the industry placement.
