Assessment window for Early Years Educator Assignment 2 Part 2 and Assisting Teaching Assignment 2

The assessment window for Early Years Educator Assignment 2 Part 2 and Assisting Teaching Assignment 2, opens on 1 February – 17 May 2024 as per the Key Dates Schedule. 

Mandatory training 

Provider standardisation training packs must be completed prior to starting Assignment 2, these can be found in the Portal. 

Useful reminders 

• The latest tutor guides can be found on the T Level in Education and Early Years Qualification Page. Please ensure you are using the marking bands within the most up to date tutor guide for the OS.  
• You should use the student evidence upload checklists provided by your moderator to ensure you have the required documentation from students submitted by the agreed deadlines. 
• You must make sure all students’ schedules of assessment are kept up to date and if there are any changes with placements, the details must be updated immediately to allow as much notice as possible to your moderator.

Access the recording of the latest assessor and teacher network for Education and Early Years. This network provides networking opportunities for staff involved in the assessment of Assignment 2 (EYE and AT) parts 1 and 2. With input and ideas from NCFE Moderators and TQ providers, the sessions allow for the sharing of ideas and experiences which share best practice and provider ‘top tips’ for success.
