Our sector expertise
Sector point of view
With social care experiencing a period of uncertainty, demand increasing and reforms approaching, we’re committed to helping fill the sector’s skills gaps by enabling social care practitioners to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need.
Transforming and improving current provision to support the increase in demand for services must be prioritised by decreasing the skills gap emerging in social care, by investing in our future workforce.
Only 3% of social care workers are 18 to 21-years-old - there’s an entire generation in education now and ready to enter a caring profession. We must guide them into rewarding careers where they can change lives for the better and make a positive impact every day.
