The impact of transitions on children and young people

Children doesn’t usually go through transitions alone; we would hope they are supported by those around them at home, or in the setting or school. The experience of going through transitions will depend on the kind of responses and support the individual receives. A child’s early experiences of transitions will impact how they deal with other transitions during later stages of their lives.

Stacy Mann and Angie Rogers discuss reflective practice, and how to get the most out of NCFE's Education and Early Years Career Toolkit and the resources available within it.
