It will support learners with any identified skills gaps in maths and has been designed using the Functional Skills subject content to develop skills for everyday life and support progression into Functional Skills. The qualification can also be used to progress to a GCSE in mathematics.
The partial certification fee has been removed for these qualifications to allow centres to claim for only the units that the learner has achieved free of charge.
