Join us for our next virtual meet-ups where Functional Skills delivery staff will share best practice focused on encouraging motivation and engagement.

We’ll be joined by Emma Davies from The Really NEET Project to give us a tour of their innovative immersive story-based assessment platform.
Teach, Share, Transform: English and digital – Wednesday 17 May, 11am – 12:30pm
This session will focus on motivation and engagement for both English and digital. Please come prepared to take part in workshop activities and share your own ideas.

Full of strategies that you can use with your learners this workshop for Functional Skills English delivery staff will give you plenty of ideas for starters and plenaries that you can build into your delivery plans. All attendees will receive a digital CPD credential.

Mean, median and mode at Levels 1 and 2
This interactive virtual training session for Functional Skills maths delivery staff will help with the delivery and progress of content related to mean, median and mode for Functional Skills maths at Levels 1 and 2. This includes strategies for teaching; finding the mean of a set of quantities, calculating the median and mode of a set of quantities, estimating the mean of a grouped frequency table and using the mean, median, mode and range to compare 2 sets of data. All attendees will receive a digital CPD credential.
