Status of adaptations and continued flexibilities for 2022-23

As we embark on the new term, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the status of ‘adaptations’ and the flexibilities that continue to be available for the rest of the academic year.  

In line with the removal of Ofqual's Vocational and Technical Qualifications Contingency Regulatory Framework (VCRF) at the end of August 2022, any previously published adaptations in response to public health measures are no longer permitted. However, we’re pleased to confirm that there are continued flexibilities in place to support learners who may face some degree of disruption to their education. These flexibilities and information on performance table qualifications can be accessed via our approach to awarding for 2022-23 page.
