Dental Nursing – new qualification documentation

We’ve completed a full review and mapping exercise of our sample assessment tasks and the associated assessment specification for the above qualification. This has resulted in updates to both documents and new versions are now available in the member’s area of our website.

In response to your feedback on our qualification specification, we’re delighted to let you know that we’re working on a new style of this document, which will be published this summer.

We’re also excited to be working on a new style qualification specification for this qualification, having listened to your feedback, which will be published this summer.

If you have not seen the sample assessment tasks and marking guidance within the assessment specification previously, these documents are an excellent and comprehensive resource for the teaching and on programme assessment of this qualification.

We’re in the process of a full review of all documentation linked to this standalone dental nursing qualification. The qualification specification, EQA documentation, assessment specification and appendices and templates documents will all be reviewed, updated and streamlined into fewer, more user-friendly documents and will be published in September this year, with more information to follow soon.
