Functional Skills Entry Level Maths coming soon: Vocabulary lists for Assessors
As we’re committed to helping learners achieve in Functional Skills, we’re introducing new vocabulary lists with all our entry level maths assessments.
Our customers and learners have given feedback asking for more support with their understanding of the contexts in our assessments. We have listened to this and invested in a solution.
Vocabulary lists will be available upon booking the assessment and assessors will be able to use this in their teaching and learning sessions. It will help prepare learners for the vocabulary associated with the contexts in the assessment.
We’re also busy updating our assessor guidance document to outline other ways we can give more support to learners during their assessment.
The vocabulary lists will be available for all entry level maths assessments booked from September 1 2024.
Provider development will be posting some instructional videos on our website in August for further information.
