External assessment timetable for 2023-25

We’re pleased to share with all centres our updated external assessment timetable for all our CACHE and V Certs qualifications with an external assessment for 2023-24 and 2024-25. 

Key updates include: 

• following requests from affected centres, we've amended the external assessment date for the new V Cert Technical Award in Child Development and Care to avoid a clash with GCSE assessments with significant learner entries 
• we've included dates for final attempts for Applied General qualifications in 2024-25 for Art and Design, Business and Enterprise, and Music Technology  

• we've added the term ‘theme’ to all CACHE assessments where various themed options are available 
• we've brought forward results release dates, relating to both summer 2024 and 2025, for Level 3 qualifications in scope for progression to higher education, to ensure that they align with general summer results release dates for all Level 3 qualifications. Qualifications affected are Applied Generals in Art and Design, and Business and Enterprise, together with the Diploma in Childcare and Education.
