Annual Monitoring Reviews – updates to our process
2022-23, we introduced the Annual Monitoring Review (AMR) process, to strengthen our EQA support offer and to reduce the number of times you’re asked to produce generic policies and procedures. Thank you for your feedback and support during the first year of AMRs.
Following your feedback, we’ve made some improvements to our AMR process for this year:
You said: There are too many folders in the One Drive link provided, it would be easier if these were reduced.
We did: Folder headings have now been reduced for both year 1 AMRs and subsequent AMRs.
You said: The User Guide to the AMR can be confusing and long to read.
We did: The user guide has been updated to make it clearer what evidence is required for each criterion. We’ve also created a digital user guide on our website which allows you to break down the content into small sections if required.
You said: It takes a long time to upload all required documentation to support the AMR.
We did: Following completion of your first AMR, in subsequent years, although all criteria will be discussed at your review, you’ll only be required to submit evidence that has changed or been updated since your previous AMR. This will include evidence of any new processes or procedures.
If you have any additional feedback, please speak to your EQA.
