Education and Early Years Teaching and Delivery
6 June, 4-5pm, Preparing students for debates and discussions: This interactive session will use the details in Element 9.2 to explore how to engage T Level students to evaluate and analyse the current priorities and debates in education. This will include education reform, national assessments, the use of technology, and children’s and young people’s health and wellbeing. We’ll discuss how these priorities and initiatives impact working in the sector, and how to build students’ confidence and develop their subject specific curiosity – developing their higher order thinking skills.
20 June, 4-5pm, Prep to assess – for the Occupational Specialisms: Moving from year 1 to year 2 delivery? New to the OS? This session will explore the different assessment activities and how to work with placement providers for effective assessment practice.
8 July, 11:30am-12:30pm, Subject specific CPD – legislative changes in Early Years: This session will explore the new EYE criteria for students starting their TQ programme EYE in September 2024, with particular references to changes in assignment 2 part 1. Talk to our sector manager about the changes and how they will impact the T Level content.
