T Level provider hub – supporting your T Level delivery

Following a retendering process, IfATE has selected Pearson to take on the Health and Science T Level contracts, who will deliver them for new cohorts from September 2026.  We will continue to support all current students to success and ensure a smooth transition to Pearson as the new awarding organisation.

The T Level in Healthcare Science is helping students progress into positive destinations, however, the demand for a Level 3 classroom-based qualification in this area has been more limited and enrolments will cease with the final cohort enrolling in September 2025. Learners wishing to pursue careers in healthcare science occupations can still do so via the Health or Science T Levels, or through apprenticeships.

We’re committed to ensuring all current students and providers are supported with these qualifications until the final student has completed. Health and Social Care remains a priority sector for NCFE in line with the skills needs across the country and beyond, and we look forward to supporting learners wishing to pursue careers in healthcare science along with the thousands of others who register through our broader portfolio of qualifications in this sector each year.
