NCFE customer service qualification endorsed by leading insurance company
The European arm of one of the world’s largest insurers, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, has endorsed NCFE’s new customer service qualification.
Credible recognition
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance aims to lead the way in connected mobility protection and is the parent company of the largest black-box insurance brand in the UK, Insure the Box, which means they have lots of credible experience in customer service.
The NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Customer Service Practitioners is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to work in a customer service role within any sector or industry.
Supporting progression
Stephen Johnson-Ramsey, Group Talent and Leadership Development Partner at Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, commented: “Our organisation has a keen interest in ensuring that the foundation of our organisation is built on learning and development, and helping our people to have more opportunities to progress and grow. This is one of the reasons why we chose to endorse this qualification. Also, our industry relies on encouraging new people through STEM subjects who can help us to grow and meet our goals over the next five years, and NCFE provides this by offering professional development qualifications.
“The NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Customer Service Practitioners is a much needed qualification. There is always a need to understand the fundamentals of customers and business, and as this shifts with the current environment and changing situations, people need to understand how to deal with this. This qualification supports learners by emphasising communication, understanding and also eliminating bias. It’s really important that all customers are treated fairly and in the right way, which this qualification covers.”
Industry recognised
Stephen continued: “The NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Customer Service Practitioners will benefit a wide range of learners. This includes learners who are seeking to have greater understanding of customer service techniques and applicants who are looking for customer service and support roles. It will also help learners already in a role to advance their career.
“We would highly recommend this qualification to learners as it offers industry recognised skills and knowledge, along with the behaviours needed to succeed in customer service and business roles.”
“Our experience of working with NCFE has always been positive. They are a very welcoming and innovative business who are willing to listen to our thoughts and implement them into what they do. I’m really appreciative of the opportunity to work with them.”
Hayley Dann, Qualifications Developer at NCFE, said: “We were delighted to work with Stephen again on this qualification development as working with stakeholders is essential in ensuring that our qualifications are current, fit for purpose and reflective of industry roles in practice. Engaging with Stephen early in the qualification development process enabled him to influence and shape the end product prior to its launch, ensuring learners are acquiring the knowledge that is really valued by employers.”
