Teachers and support staff lead by example. With their love of education, they inspire the children in the classroom to feel the same. That’s why we believe in inspiring the education sector’s workforce with a passion for continued learning, as we know it improves outcomes for learners.
We create accessible, straightforward training resources that introduce new ideas for pedagogical practice, and that include international perspectives.
In collaboration with experts across the sector, we developed our Education and Childcare Career Toolkit and to support learners to achieve their career ambitions in education. As part of this, we regularly catch up with experts from the sector to find out about their own exciting, and sometimes surprising, education journeys and career paths. We’re at the forefront of technical education, and we were selected by the government to spearhead the development of the qualification that underpins the T Level in Education and Childcare. T Levels are high-quality, work-focused alternatives to A Levels, and the T Level in Education and Childcare was launched to students in September 2020, marking a revolution in technical education. Designed alongside employers to reflect industry needs, these two-year courses equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to progress into work or higher-level study.
