Collaborate with us
Collaborate with us
We believe that movements need collaborators. To develop a smarter education eco-system means galvanising those around us, extending our networks and inspiring trust through a collaborative system. We are proud to pioneer and invest in the creation and adoption of innovations that will improve learning outcomes and enhance the value of learning.
That’s why we look for collaboration opportunities at all levels within NCFE – whether that be a new strategic partnership that supports our core purpose, building out a policy area of interest or seeking out experts and leaders in the sector to input into our qualification and content development.
Investments and partnerships
We have made a number of investments and developed new partnerships to support our goal of increasing our reach and impact. We are always interested to hear from organisations who have a proposition or initiative that aligns with our values and beliefs and who want to make the biggest possible positive difference. Read about our exciting investments and sector-wide initiatives.
Learning resource and system partners
We work with a number of partners, including Learning Curve Group and Hodder Education, to create engaging learning resources and help deliver immersive training programmes. We have also quality approved a number of e-portfolio systems that have gone through a rigorous reviewing process. Find out more about the systems we would recommend you consider.
Policy environment
Our purpose is to promote and advance learning. As part of this, we’re working with partners and government to positively influence the policy environment. We want to ensure that no learner is left behind in a technical education system that delivers a pipeline of talent to employers. By sharing ideas and evidence, undertaking research and trialling new approaches, together we can help to drive change.
Qualification development
We want to work with leaders in their field to make our qualifications the best they can be. If you’re an occupational expert, we’d love to hear from you. You can help build the future of education in your sector by advising on our new qualification ideas, review qualification content to check for relevance, endorse qualifications, and promote your organisation. There’s even the potential for paid work as you help us shape the final version of our products.
We already collaborate with the following across all sectors:
- Employers
- Further education colleges
- Higher education institutes
- Professional and trade bodies
- Schools
- Training providers

Engaging as a practitioner
The qualifications we develop frequently receive input, scrutiny and challenge from practitioners working in the relevant sector, to ensure they are robust and fit for purpose.
