Supporting learners through the power of peer-to-peer tutoring
Discover how Peer Tutor can support learners to successful outcomes
Go the distance with Peer Tutor
As part of our focused action to support youth employment, the ‘go the distance’ initiative is designed to help young people succeed, despite the current economic and labour market context.
Our 16-19 youth employment offer comprises substantial qualification and curriculum bundles, including access to relevant resources such as Peer Tutor - a unique and innovative, peer-to-peer tutoring mobile app.
We understand that many young people have lost up to 6 months of learning due to the pandemic, setting them back when looking ahead to their next steps. Through the Peer Tutor app, we can help learners catch up and step forward.
Developed in partnership with a number of leading educational organisations and authorities, Peer Tutor supports learners remotely by providing students with access to:
- real time Q&A platform
- interactive live lessons
- 121 tuition
- personalised feedback
- access to high quality Collins resources
Peer Tutor uses the latest AI screening technologies and safeguarding features to ensure learners’ safety while using the app. All of our peer tutors who deliver live lessons are DBS checked and verified.
How it works
